Cream and Caramel Dream

Hello lovelies,

Happy New Year to ALL of  you! May 2018 be filled with joy, excitement, prosperity, health, great luck, expanded horizons, sweet memories and heartwarming moments with family and loved ones that we would cherish and smile about!

I am very excited to share that for this first post of the year I have partnered with my favorite classy and sophisticated women’s brand – METISU! My latest picks consist of two absolute must-have dresses  and a coat that would bring elegance and style to any winter outfit. These three pieces are not only eye-catching and pleasing, but sure to keep you warm in this cool season weather.

Let’s start with the Beige Belted Waist Coat With Contrast Binding! I have to admit it has quickly become my new wardrobe gem–a classic with a twist of trend and a playful touch all in one. The silhouette is chic with a dramatic turn down wide collar and belted waist. The beige color makes for an easy partnering with most anyone’s taste and existing pieces! The black triangular binding and split cuff detail add a funky twist to this classic. This coat leaves me with one word in my mind: elegance! By the way, this it item is currently on sale for only $89!!

I decided to pair the coat with an Apricot V-neck Belt Waist Knitted Midi Dress as the two pieces seem to speak the same language to create a cream dream together! There is something about knitted dresses during winter–those seem to be my go-to type and I knew I wanted this one as soon as I laid my eyes on its gorgeous ribbed V top design, which changes in direction once it hits the belt area. The cream and caramel belt is an added accessory which helps you with the selection of the shoes and bag. I chose high cinnamon boots and a vintage burnt caramel bag.

My second dress choice is the Caramel Bow Midi Dress With Flared Sleeve (unfortunately is just went out of stock) which also pairs up beautifully with the coat, however it is much thicker and works wonderfully on its own on a warmer California winter day. This dress drew me in with its swing silhouette, gorgeous bell sleeves and bow-tie V-neckline. The shape of the bottom portion of the dress mimics that of the sleeves to create a cohesive feminine piece, which would make any girl want to twirl around. I paired this dress with black high knee boots and a black bag and was ready to go! The dress would also match perfectly with beige, creme, olive or even white accessories.
