I like being cozy any season, but there is something extra cozy that I look for in winter clothing–I desire that softness which keeps me warm, comfy and if it looks cute then, hey, I have a winner!! That is exactly how I feel about SHEIN’s High Neck Drawstring Waist Heather Knit Dress. The middy length and turtle neck provide essential coverage to keep you away from the frost biting ability of this season’s weather. The draw string waist adds definition to the smallest area of your body and the ruffled bottom adds femininity and character to this cozy piece. The burgundy color pulls you away from being stuck in the winter blacks (so guilty of that!!) and the pretty silhouette makes this dress perfect for a day in the office or a Sunday brunch with friends. Once I put the High Neck Drawstring Waist Heather Knit Dress on I didn’t really want to take it off–the cotton-polyester fabric is so soft that it feels like you are wearing your favorite joggers and top.

OOTD in Style
I was up in San Fransisco last weekend and I have to admit, we had a great time dancing, wine tasting, and chatting while admiring the flavors of brunch dishes at hip restaurants. The trip also reminded me how much warmer Los Angeles winters are. AND how important a good sweater is, so I wanted to dedicate this post to just that–the perfect sweaters!
Patched Fuzzy Bowknot Applique Sweater – Can we talk about the cute applique flowers and leafs on this sweater?! I mean, those grabbed my eye immediately–they are made out of tulle and lace fabric–such a feminine touch <3!! I also gravitated to the cream color and the fuzzy texture of the sweater. It fits true to size and is a bit shorter at the front than at the back giving your lower back sufficient coverage–something your mom would be happy about (I know mine is)! This sweater is feminine and combines perfectly with a pair of jeans, tapered pants, a pencil plaid skirt or a leather one like mine. It also comes in grey, but you know me–I am a sucker for off-white!

Cable Knit Pattern Drop Shoulder Sweater – this sweater is just so cozy and as it is winter time, we have to think about comfort, style and WARMTH–I guess that is part of comfort during this season. The cable pattern adds texture and the drop shoulders give this beautiful cream sweater a unique cut with long enough sleeves to cover half your hands (I ❤ that part as I have a pet-peeve when it comes to long-sleeves that are short). It is one of those pieces that will never go out of style and you would be excited to pull back out as soon as the weather gets chilly. It is a “one-size” fits all. I generally wear a size small and you can see it has a slightly oversized vibe on me.

Christmas is literally round the corner and I seem to be super busy this week. The weekend flew by so fast that I could not even get my photo shooting done… Have you been running abound like a buzzzy bee?
This week I have partnered with Shein to bring you this super versatile knit two-piece. There are so may details of both the top and the bottom that I truly enjoy and guess what this set looks great together as well as in a combo with other pieces you already have in your wardrobe.
The top – it is knit and yet peplum, which gives one such a pretty line and waist definition. There is a little split at the bottom front which adds a unique feminine touch. The double V neckline is not super deep, so cold air is not going to rush in and make you feel the frost of winter. I have already worn this top as a stand alone sweater, with a pair of black jeans, a nice blush scarf and pointy toe boots!
The skirt – It is just the right midi length and also has a split, but in the back, so it makes the skirt easy to walk in, yet appropriate length for the office. I also am a fan of the fact that it is a pencil skirt as that is the silhouette I tend to gravitate to. You can combine this skirt with a knit black turtleneck sweater or a purple tie neck silk shirt and it would fit beautifully with either!
Overall perks – the grey color is neutral and pretty to combine with red, black, blue, white, purple, you name it! The material is super soft and comfy to wear, while being thick enough to keep you warm. The co-ord will give you a bang for your buck as you can wear the pieces together or as two separates, giving you endless possibilities for just $33!
Have you purchased a two-piece lately? I now own a few and have enjoyed their sheer versatility. Check out more two-piece ideas here.
