I was up in San Fransisco last weekend and I have to admit, we had a great time dancing, wine tasting, and chatting while admiring the flavors of brunch dishes at hip restaurants. The trip also reminded me how much warmer Los Angeles winters are. AND how important a good sweater is, so I wanted to dedicate this post to just that–the perfect sweaters!

Patched Fuzzy Bowknot Applique Sweater – Can we talk about the cute applique flowers and leafs on this sweater?! I mean, those grabbed my eye immediately–they are made out of tulle and lace fabric–such a feminine touch <3!! I also gravitated to the cream color and the fuzzy texture of the sweater. It fits true to size and is a bit shorter at the front than at the back giving your lower back sufficient coverage–something your mom would be happy about (I know mine is)! This sweater is feminine and combines perfectly with a pair of jeans, tapered pants, a pencil plaid skirt or a leather one like mine. It also comes in grey, but you know me–I am a sucker for off-white!

Cable Knit Pattern Drop Shoulder Sweater – this sweater is just so cozy and as it is winter time, we have to think about comfort, style and WARMTH–I guess that is part of comfort during this season. The cable pattern adds texture and the drop shoulders give this beautiful cream sweater a unique cut with long enough sleeves to cover half your hands (I ❤ that part as I have a pet-peeve when it comes to long-sleeves that are short). It is one of those pieces that will never go out of style and you would be excited to pull back out as soon as the weather gets chilly. It is a “one-size” fits all. I generally wear a size small and you can see it has a slightly oversized vibe on me.

      I love the feminine touches on the first sweater as well. Those drew me to it as soon as I spotted it. Oh, I have not tried a pearl sweater and cannot wait to see how you style yours!
