One Look – Four Hot Fall Trends

Hello lovelies,

Did you attend any Halloween parties this weekend? Are you excited for Tuesday? I cannot wait to put little bug in her costume and see the excitement in her eyes when she sees the full look and goes out in the neighborhood. But guess what? I am not showing you my Halloween outfit… Today is all about a few of the hottest fall trends combined in one outfit!

The main ingredients of this up-to-the-minute look are courtesy of ROWEME (trendy clothing) and KLASSE14 (uniquely beautiful watches). I can feel the anticipation building, so here is the recipe for this fall wander:

• Button Front Strap Denim Overall Dress – dungaree dresses are so in at the moment and this one is perfect for fall as it is a midi and lends itself to layering perfectly. I have previously paired it with a lace top and now with this trendy black beauty. The button front makes it easy to put on and adds another eye-catching element along with those cute front pockets!

• Black Bell Sleeve Slim T-Shirt – OK, I am in love with this top… Not only does it have the dramatic bell sleeves I have been a fan of since last fall, but it adds some strings to those to bring the top to Fall 2017. How to Wear Your Summer Dress into Fall

Hello lovelies!

How was your weekend? We had a busy one and I always feel like weekends should be at least three days… Wouldn’t that be a lot more on the fair side?

On a different note, we cannot seem to be able to break up with summer here in LA-LA land. The temperatures today are hitting 101F!! So… I am not putting my sundresses away, just keeping a leather jacket close by in order to be armed with the right attire for hot mid-days, as well as cool mornings and evenings.

This week’s look is exactly as described above–my favorite new red & white floral dress from VIP.com, two-toned pumps, an all black purse, and a leather jacket. Combining the edginess of leather with the femininity of a floral print, bell sleeves and an A-line, makes for a balanced and chic outfit. I decided to stick to three primary colors – red, white and black. I believe each element of  each piece speaks to the next–the white flowers of the dress cross over to the white body of the shoes. The black tips of the pumps loop back to the black bag and leather jacket adding to the cohesiveness of this outfit!

Porcelain Print Pencil Dress

Hi Lovelies,

You know the traditional English dishware Chinoiserie print combining white and vintage blue? I own at least three different sets of porcelain dishes with it… Being such a fan, I could not help but falling in love with this porcelain print pencil dress by ROMWE.

Of course, it first caught my eye with it’s beautiful print and color combination. I then took a closer look and noted two other attributes of the dress that speak my language: 1) the midi length and 2) the bodycon shape. It is elegant and sexy while still being very classy. The 1/2 sleeves make it a perfect fall contender. I was hoping to be able to wear it with a denim or a white blazer to show you how beautifully the two combine, but it was 100F the day we were shooting… CRAZY LA weather! 😉 I chose to style this dress with red pumps and a blue Chanel bag, but could see how you can flip that and wear blue or white shoes and a red or white bag. I love the combo of white, blue and red, and not just for the fourth of July, hehe!

A couple of details on this beautiful dress:

2. I am wearing a size Small (my usual) and it fits me quite well.
3. I recommend wearing it with beige or light grey undies, because somehow if you wear white (my first inclination), it will show.

Blush into Fall

Hello lovelies,

I have been thinking about Fall fashion and the fact that I do not want to give up pretty colors because summer is over. One of those colors dear to my heart it blush–it is so soft and feminine and could work perfectly with a light fall color palette of creams and beiges, as well as soft grays!

Today I am showing you a look that combined all blush with some cream and denim. This dress from VIP.com is the main act and outfit inspiration. I could not help, but fall in love with the soft lines it forms and that beautiful pear detail along the sleeves and on the belt. Don’t you think it is darling? Once I received the dress I could also appreciate how soft and comfy it is (I am not a huge fan of pretty clothing that is torturous to wear!).

To continue the color theme I paired the dress with blush velvet flats. I also loved how the elegance of the point toe added to the sophistication of the dress. Since I want to wear this dress now and for the next few months, and believe it or not, it gets cold in the morning and evening even in LA, I added a denim blazer. I chose a blazer vs a regular jean jacket as I wanted to stay in the slightly more elegant realm. To finish the outfit off I added some pretty jewels, a cream bag and some sunnies.

Browns, Beiges, and Olive Greens

Hello lovelies,

Fall is in full swing and so are outfits in earthy tones and soft, cozy textures appropriate for the cooler weather this season brings. The materials I am most excited about are leather and suede–both bring so much edge to an outfit, whether they are the real deal or its faux alternatives (great for those of us who care about animals or don’t want to pay high prices).

This week I present to you my suede dream from Earth Tone Land! It is a combination of caramels, browns, beiges all topped off with a bunch of olive–the embodiment of ease to the eye and comfort to the skin! 🙂 Suede, whether real or faux, feels super soft against your body and is a pleasure to wear. That goes for both my skirt and bomber–the main components of this outfit. I choose a sheer ruffle top to bring out the femininity of the skirt and bridge it with the sportier feel of the jacket. The snakeskin pumps add some edge while complementing the color scheme of the outfit, and so does this leather-embroidered brown bag!

METISU Fall Lookbook

Hi lovelies!

It is no secret that my favorite dresses lately has been METISU–they fit my style to the t! My attention is always captivated by the classy silhouettes, great designs, quality materials, and most of all I enjoy the confidence I feel when wearing a METISU piece. So when they reached out to me to create a video look book with Fall fashion I was quite excited and a bit scared as I had never starred in or edited a video before. The shirt that has it all!

Hello lovelies,

Happy October! Pumpkins are now front and center in all stores, houses are decorated with those and the smell of pumpkin spice lattes is sure to catch your nose everywhere you go–still cannot believe how fast September few by! You?

This week I have partnered with ROMWE to bring you the perfect Fall shirt! It really has got it all: vertical stripes, embroidery, ruffles, a Victorian collar and an overall style that is suitable to take to work or run errands in during the weekend!

Let’s talk about each feature:

• Vertical stripes were BIG in the 80’s and have made a major comeback the past couple of seasons. The ones on this shirt are a smaller size which give it an office-appropriate feel I like, as I have to dress up for work Monday trough Friday.
• Embroidery is another trend that has been going strong for the past coupe of seasons. We have seen embroidery on jeans, tops, jackets, and now even booties. The flower embroidery on this shirt is very appropriate for Fall as the colors are in beautiful earthy tones.
• There is a ruffle that runs from the front middle of the shirt all around trough its back, adding yet another feminine touch to this pretty shirt!
• Should you decide to button up this ROMWE shirt, you would display the Victorian collar, which has an additional ruffle further enhancing the girlishness of this piece.

To achieve this office-appropriate look, I decided to pair the shirt with a pencil denim skirt, golden open-toe pumps and a blue and gold Chanel bag. This shirt would look amazing with some high-rise dark wash, red or white jeans and a pair of booties–looks I am sure I will share with you later on this season.
